Lauren's senior session was jam-packed with multiple locations and her sweet pup included! I knew we wanted to end in the pool at sunset for her swim photos, but we started on a warm afternoon in the park along the Mississippi. This spot had so many options with the flowers, the riverfront, the bridge... Speaking of the bridge, that won't be around for much longer, so that was kind of cool to include.
Lauren is such a great girl! Wise beyond her years and so much fun to be around. <3
I always like to ask my seniors what they like best about senior year and she said, "The best part of being a senior is the flexibility with your schedule. It's really nice not having to go to school for 7 periods." And her advice for upcoming seniors is: "To get things done early to help your stress levels out."
I also asked Lauren what she liked best about her session and she said she liked any of the locations with natural sunlight. This was so great to hear since my favorite look to my senior portrait sessions is natural light. I mix in artificial light when needed, but natural light (especially beautiful summer sunshine) is my favorite! She loved how it made the photos shine.
She also added, "I loved Sara’s assistant and her positive words." (Laurel is pretty awesome! I'm lucky to have her help!)
We ended the evening in the pool with the sun setting behind us. These are some of my favorite pool photos yet!
Thanks for a fun evening session, Lauren! I wish you all the best as you take on Indiana Wesleyan University next fall!
