Featured this week is Kaitlyn from Pleasant Valley High School. Her beautiful session was originally scheduled for early summer, but we rescheduled. And then rescheduled again. :) It was meant to be though because it ended up PERFECT!
In our pre-session consultation, Kaitlyn shared with me the things she wanted to include in her session. She also described the locations she was hoping to include, one being a field of flowers. I confess I'm not much of a field person, thanks to my fear of snakes, so I made do with a patch of landscaping. ;) These tall butterfly bushes combined with the late afternoon light created exactly the look I was hoping for.
We also used a water feature to create one of her favorites from the session. <3
Another location we included was her own backyard. It was full of beautiful greenery--and her fur baby, too!
We moved quickly during her session to be sure we could include a downtown location as well. Loved how these turned out (even when we threw a few fairy lights in the bush lol)!
Kaitlyn has accomplished so much as a senior. Her musical talents for one. I asked Kaitlyn what she liked best about senior year and she said she is looking forward to what comes next. As she says, "It's crazy to think that there's only a semester left in high school. The weeks go by so fast that I'm enjoying every bit of what high school has left to offer me." This last semester will fly by! I hope all seniors take time to enjoy it!
